Freezing

When the company moved into its new building in Enkhuizen in 2005, a completely new IQF freezing tunnel was installed. In 2007 Heyco invested in new cooling stores and in an additional freezing tunnel with glazing conveyers. Both tunnels are installed in one line, enabling higher production capacity.
 
Different types of fish, shellfish and crustaceans including tropical shrimps, smelt, sprat, fruits de mer and other seafood can be frozen. Fish processing companies which do not have these facilities, or which are suffering from capacity shortage problems, can make use of this freezing facility of Heyco.
